Peaberry coffees are unique in that only one of the two seeds is fertilized, leading to a small round coffee bean with no flat side. It's believed that approximately 5% of all coffee is peaberry and these beans tend to be denser, as well as slightly sweeter.
This particular peaberry, with its fruity notes hails from the second oldest farm in the Vwawa area in Tanzania.
