Capetillo is a farm near the Acatenango volcano in the Antigua region of Guatemala. Antigua is one of the oldest and best-known coffee growing region in Guatemala and has played an important role in the development of coffee ever since the Jesuit missionaries introduced coffee to the country in 1760. Capetillo has over 300 hectares of coffee in production, and processes coffees using both the natural and washed methods. The producers at Capetillo grow several different varietals, including Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, Pache, and Pacamara.
